Siding contractor in Hurricane, UT

Hurricane sits at about 3,250 feet along the Virgin River corridor in Washington County, where the Colorado Plateau, Great Basin, and Mojave Desert regions converge. Summers are hot and dry with July highs averaging near 97Β°F, while winters bring occasional freezes with January lows near 30Β°F. The city has grown rapidly from a small agricultural town into one of the fastest-growing housing markets in Southern Utah, producing a wide mix of older downtown homes and large new-construction subdivisions on the south and east sides. That housing mix means exterior conditions vary widely: older homes near the historic core have original wood trim and aging siding, while newer builds on the Sand Hollow side are still under their original warranty windows.

Siding Contractor

From Hurricane's Historic Core to Sand Hollow New Builds

Hurricane's older downtown homes were built when the city was still an agricultural community. Many have original wood fascia and soffit boards that have dried and split after decades of desert heat and occasional winter freezes. Replacing that trim with aluminum-wrapped or vinyl soffit and fascia stops moisture entry and removes the pest access points that rotted wood creates.

The newer subdivisions spreading south and east toward Sand Hollow Reservoir are a different story. These homes are newer but were built quickly during a fast-growth period, and some have window and door installations that show early signs of seal failure from the desert's thermal cycling. We handle frame-over window replacements and patio door upgrades on these properties without major wall disruption.

We are a locally owned business with the owner working in the field on every job. We have held an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau since 2002 and have never had a single complaint filed against us. Hurricane homeowners can call us directly and speak with someone who knows this area and this trade.

Siding replacement is in high demand across Hurricane's older residential core, where original wood and early-generation vinyl siding has weathered years of desert heat and occasional freeze cycles. Seamless rain gutters and downspouts are a priority on both older and newer homes because the Virgin River valley's brief but heavy monsoon rains overwhelm undersized or clogged gutter systems. Patio doors and sliding doors are popular upgrades in Hurricane's resort and recreation-oriented new construction near Sand Hollow Reservoir. Soffit and fascia replacement is a common repair on homes built in the 1980s and 1990s where original wood trim has dried and cracked under the desert sun.

Working with Cade has been a great experience. My husband was able to call the number on his website and we got a consultation that day! Once we got our consultation, and decided to work with Cade, we were able to have help picking colors, doors, and windows for my home. We needed 8 windows, 2 doors, and the siding replaced. Jacob did a phenomenal job with the siding and windows. They took down my old siding and found there wasn't any insulation underneath to protect from the southern Utah heat. They added insulation underneath the new siding and added a barrier around the bottom of the house to keep the bugs in. Which has kept my house cool and bug free. They also hauled away the old siding and windows in a timely manner. They cleaned as they went and kept us up to date on the process. Thank you Beehive State Exteriors for making my house nicer to look at and nicer to live in.

I have used BeeHive State Exteriors for two projects over the past 2 years. First was windows in my Sun River, 27 of them all peofessionally meaured and installed. So when I sold that home and needed new energy efficient windows for my home in Coral Canyon i reached out to Cade again. Now I have new windows, gutters, down spouts and doggie door in my happily ever after home. I just love everything Cade has done for me and would highly recommend him and his company!!! SERIOUSLY I GIVE HIM 10 STARS🌟

Siding Contractor FAQ for Hurricane, UT

Common questions from Hurricane, UT customers about our services, process, and coverage.

Insulated vinyl siding and LP SmartSide are both strong choices for Hurricane's climate. Insulated vinyl adds a foam backing that reduces thermal transfer through the wall, which matters when exterior surface temperatures climb well above 100Β°F on south- and west-facing walls. LP SmartSide holds its finish better than standard vinyl under sustained UV exposure.

Look for paint that is peeling or bubbling on the fascia boards, soft spots when you press on the soffit, or visible gaps where the soffit meets the wall. In Hurricane's climate, wood fascia and soffit boards dry out and crack over time, creating entry points for moisture during monsoon rains and for pests year-round. Replacing them with aluminum-wrapped or vinyl panels solves both problems.

Yes. Even newer homes in the Sand Hollow area need properly sized gutters because the monsoon rains that hit Hurricane in July and August are intense and brief. A 5-inch sectional gutter can overflow during a heavy monsoon event. We install 6-inch seamless gutters on homes with larger roof areas or steep pitches to handle peak flow without overflow.

In most cases, yes. We can remove the existing sliding door unit, properly flash the rough opening, and install a new patio or sliding door without disturbing the surrounding siding. If the existing siding is in poor condition around the opening, we address that area as part of the door installation to prevent moisture intrusion.
