Siding contractor in Enterprise, UT

Enterprise sits at 5,300 feet in the Escalante Valley of northwestern Washington County, between Pine Valley Mountain to the east and the Nevada border about 25 miles west. The elevation gives it a true four-season climate with winter nights that drop into the low 20s, annual snowfall in the range of 20 to 30 inches, and summer highs in the low-to-mid 80s. Homes here are predominantly single-family on large lots or acreage, with a strong agricultural and ranching character. The housing stock includes older farmhouses and ranch-style homes that have faced decades of cold winters and high-altitude UV, alongside a smaller number of newer builds.

Acreage-Property Exterior Work Built for Enterprise's Winters

Enterprise's winters are real. Overnight lows in the low 20s and 20 to 30 inches of annual snowfall mean that siding, windows, and fascia face a freeze-thaw cycle that repeats throughout the season. Wood siding absorbs moisture from snow and then dries rapidly in the high-altitude sun, splitting and cracking over time. We replace failing wood siding with steel or LP SmartSide products that resist moisture absorption and hold their finish through cold-climate cycling.

Homes on large lots and acreage in Enterprise often have long roof runs and wide eave overhangs that collect significant snowmelt. Undersized or clogged gutters send that melt straight down the foundation wall, which is a serious problem on properties where the soil freezes and thaws repeatedly through the winter. We install 6-inch seamless gutters sized for the roof area and position downspouts to move water well away from the foundation.

We are locally owned and the owner works in the field on every job. We have been accredited with the Better Business Bureau since 2002 and have maintained an A+ rating with no complaints on record. Enterprise homeowners get a contractor who understands rural acreage properties and the specific exterior challenges that come with high-elevation Utah winters.

Every service, available in Enterprise, UT

Siding replacement on Enterprise's older farmhouses and ranch homes is a priority because original wood siding has absorbed decades of moisture from snow and spring rain, leading to rot, paint failure, and pest entry. Steel siding and LP SmartSide are strong choices here because both handle freeze-thaw cycling without the moisture absorption that wood develops over time. Window replacement with insulated vinyl frames and double-pane or triple-pane glass is important at this elevation, where single-pane windows lose significant heat during winter nights in the low 20s. Seamless gutters with proper downspout placement manage snowmelt from large roof areas on acreage properties. Soffit and fascia replacement is common on older homes where original wood trim has dried and cracked through repeated freeze-thaw seasons.

Working with Cade has been a great experience. My husband was able to call the number on his website and we got a consultation that day! Once we got our consultation, and decided to work with Cade, we were able to have help picking colors, doors, and windows for my home. We needed 8 windows, 2 doors, and the siding replaced. Jacob did a phenomenal job with the siding and windows. They took down my old siding and found there wasn't any insulation underneath to protect from the southern Utah heat. They added insulation underneath the new siding and added a barrier around the bottom of the house to keep the bugs in. Which has kept my house cool and bug free. They also hauled away the old siding and windows in a timely manner. They cleaned as they went and kept us up to date on the process. Thank you Beehive State Exteriors for making my house nicer to look at and nicer to live in.

I have used BeeHive State Exteriors for two projects over the past 2 years. First was windows in my Sun River, 27 of them all peofessionally meaured and installed. So when I sold that home and needed new energy efficient windows for my home in Coral Canyon i reached out to Cade again. Now I have new windows, gutters, down spouts and doggie door in my happily ever after home. I just love everything Cade has done for me and would highly recommend him and his company!!! SERIOUSLY I GIVE HIM 10 STARS🌟

Siding Contractor FAQ for Enterprise, UT

Common questions from Enterprise, UT customers about our services, process, and coverage.

Steel siding and LP SmartSide are both strong choices for Enterprise's cold-climate conditions. Steel does not absorb moisture and holds its finish through freeze-thaw cycles without the cracking and paint failure that wood develops. LP SmartSide uses a treated engineered wood that resists moisture and holds paint better than standard wood siding at this elevation.

Triple-pane windows are a strong investment for Enterprise homes, especially on north- and west-facing walls where winter wind exposure is highest. When overnight lows drop into the low 20s, a triple-pane unit with a low U-factor holds significantly more heat than a standard double-pane and reduces condensation on the interior glass surface.

Properly sized seamless gutters and extended downspouts are the first step. On large roof areas common to Enterprise farmhouses and ranch homes, we recommend 6-inch gutters to handle peak snowmelt flow. Downspout extensions should move water at least four to six feet from the foundation, and the grade around the home should slope away to prevent pooling when the ground thaws.

Yes. We plan material delivery and staging around the property's layout and daily activity. On acreage properties, we typically work one elevation at a time so the rest of the structure remains functional. The owner is on site for every job and coordinates directly with the property owner on scheduling.
